Open Streets Detroit is a unique event where streets are transformed into a giant park as the roads are temporarily blocked to automotive traffic. For the fall event, people had the opportunity to bike, walk, jog, skate, and more through the car-free streets. Bikers and pedestrians roam Michigan Avenue in Corktown on a warm day. The downtown Detroit skyline is in the distance. October 2, 2016.
