The Veterans Day flag raising ceremony was held at Spirit Plaza and One Woodward, November 12, 2018. Poppies were distributed at several buildings around downtown Detroit. The ceremony began at 10:30 a.m. and was followed by a moment of silence at 11:00 am to give respect for those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
